IIT Palakkad was founded in 2015 and is one of India’s third-generation IITs. The IIT Palakkad team is currently being mentored by the IIT Madras team. The college is currently operating from a temporary campus at the Ahalia Integrated Campus in Kozhippara, Palakkad, and a permanent campus in Kanjikode. The permanent campus of IIT Palakkad will be built on about 500 acres of land in Pudussery village, in the Palakkad district of Kerala.
Student’s choice award is a measure to find – Educational Institutes which are admired by students and inspire generations. The focus of this award would be New Age Educational Institutes that give preference to New age methodology of grooming knowledge workers and prioritizes induction of
21st Century Skills in its students.
