Established on August 6th 2008, the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna is a pioneer centre of knowledge and excellence located at Bihta at a distance of 40 km away from Patna. It is one of the new IITs that are established under the Act of Indian Parliament. Patna has always been believed to be the land of legends and visionaries and attracted scholars worldwide. There are ten departments in IIT Patna that include the Social Science department, Mathematics and Humanities, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering.
Student’s choice award is a measure to find – Educational Institutes which are admired by students and inspire generations. The focus of this award would be New Age Educational Institutes that give preference to New age methodology of grooming knowledge workers and prioritizes induction of
21st Century Skills in its students.
